Grain Leather Sectional
Is $700 too much to pay for a used leather sectional?
I want to buy a leather sectional, but would rather buy used than spend a fortune on a new set. Yesterday I went to look at one priced at $700. It’s 3 pieces and the guy said he spent $4000 on it 20 years ago. It is pretty worn in spots where the leather has cracked. I can tell it is high grain leather, but wonder if that’s too much to pay due to the condition. I haven’t seen other used sets for sale, os I have nothing to compare. Any advice would be appreciated!
Personally I wouldn’t, sounds pretty steep to me. Have you tried looking on craigslist.org ? The couch is 20yrs old even if the leather was in good shape how is the frame, structure of it. I personally would shop around a bit more. Good luck
