If you have not experienced the stunning visual and audio display of a movie in 1080p of HDTV, then you really are missing out! I've compiled a must-have list of the top 5 Blu-ray movies of all time that would a great gift for yourself or someone special!
1. Flags of Our Fathers
If you're a fan of films War as Platoon and Saving Private Ryan, Flags of Our Fathers definitely belongs in your collection. Directed by the great Clint Eastwood, the film recreates the battles of Iwo Jima in World War II and does a spectacular job of that.
2. Gladiator
A great epic film set in the day Roman, this film keeps you glued to your seat for hours. As wonderful as it is to see Maximus get her revenge for the death of his family, all spectacular visuals really make you feel like you're in the Colosseum in Rome! This is definitely one of my target = "_self"> all time favorites!
3. Watchmen
Originally a comic style illustrated novel of the eighties, this film is another visually stunning show! It focuses around a group of "has been" super heroes unite to stop the end of humanity. Anyone who is a fan of the novel is sure to enjoy of this masterpiece on the big screen.
4. Blade Runner
Originally released in 1982, this film flopped in theaters. Since then has met almost a cult-like following, and I can see why. A favorite target = "_self"> movie many fans, this science fiction movie is really a thrill to watch. The vivid colors and action scenes high definition are brilliant! The story itself is a special police officer called blade runner has come out of retirement to hunt dangerous human-like androids dishonest in 2019 in Los Angeles. However great after all these years, occupies a special place in my collection.
5. I am Legend
This is a film adaptation of a science fiction novel of 1954 by the same name. It is a virus that destroys 99 percent of the worlds of the population, turning the rest into zombies mutants. Dr. Robert Neville is the only immune to this virus and racing to find a cure before the zombies get to it first.
