"Coastal" ideas living room?

Hello, I asked a few questions about my room, but have not gotten many responses, so I wear again. I set on a theme of "the coast" with the blue and white for my living room. I live in a rented apartment, so that the walls are white, the carpet is dark gray. I have a brown leather sofa, chair and ottoman, and wood Coffee Table and shelves of the room. I added some blue and white pillows, some shell-shaped candles and some pictures and vacation pictures on the beach. I like the decor is traditional, but with clean lines and a modern sensibility. Any ideas for me? I'm imagining the island, and somewhat but not too tropical, like a living room by the sea of Capri … if that helps. The Board receives tons of natural light.

It sounds like you have a great start. I add a plant or large tropical leaf or two in bamboo baskets. Maybe some accessories distressed white wood as a plate full of seashells for your coffee table and small to establish frameworks among his books in his library. Add some soft shades flowy pure.
